While it has not been banned in the United States, the FDA has issued warnings regarding Actos®. There is an increased risk of bladder cancer in some of the patients who have taken the drug. Those that take Actos® may experience headaches, sinus infections, tooth problems, muscle pain, and sore throat. Others experience water retention, fatigue, stomach pain, chest pain, shortness of breath, nausea, and loss of appetite.
